After one week of testing Wobbuffet on the ladder, a Wobbuffet usage analysis has been prepared.

To download the game, simply click the following link and choose to Open the file.

After the program finishes downloading, you will be presented with a warning dialogue. This dialogue is simply asking for permission to run the program as a normal application program, as opposed to a typical Java applet running in a sandbox. It it not asking for anything above the privileges of your user account. In particular, it is not asking to run as an administrator. (Shoddy Battle does not require that you are an administrator.) If you are fine with running the program, choose Run.

Alternatively, if the download link does not work, and you are using Windows, choose Run from the Start menu and enter the following before clicking OK:

javaws http://shoddybattle.com/client/shoddybattle.php

If you are not using Windows, enter the same at a command terminal and then press enter.

For the source code of Shoddy Battle, download the shoddybattle-1.7-source.zip package. If you want the most up to date sources (and for most practical purposes, you probably do), check the code out from the cvs repository or view it online.

Server

If your computer has high uptime, or if you would just like to experiment, you are of course free to download and run a server.
